Here is an outline of a wedding shower checklist

In today's world, it seems that almost any topic is open for debate. While I was gathering facts for this article, I was quite surprised to find some of the issues I thought were settled are actually still being openly discussed.

Bridal showers are one of many pre-wedding parties and are great fun. They are known as parties with a purpose. The purpose of a shower is to assist the couple in equipping their new home or for the bride to assemble a trousseau. Not only that, but they are a good excuse for the bride to get together with her friends and family to play hilarious games and to enjoy the food and wine.

Did you know that a trend has started for ‘couples showers’? This is sometimes termed as the ‘Jack’ and ‘Jill’ shower where you shower both the bride and groom with gifts and good wishes. Either way, if you are having a traditional shower party for just the bride, or decide to have a couples shower, then the planning and the checklist will invariably be the same.

Sometimes the most important aspects of a subject are not immediately obvious. Keep reading to get the complete picture.

Traditionally the maid of honour tends to plan the shower party. But today, anything goes and it is perfectly acceptable for both family and friends to work together to organize, host and share the cost of the wedding shower. It doesn’t really matter who actually hosts the party as long as it is planned well in advance and normally in consultation with the bride. If the shower is planned to be in someone’s home, then it’s always a good idea to choose the person with the largest home or garden.

So now you know a little bit about wedding shower checklist. Even if you don't know everything, you've done something worthwhile: you've expanded your knowledge.

When to have your party?

You can see that there's practical value in learning more about wedding shower checklist. Can you think of ways to apply what's been covered so far?

It is best to hold the shower about four to six weeks before the wedding, Because of the busy schedule the bride and her family will have in the lead up to her wedding.

A growing trend is that more wedding showers are no longer a surprise and statistics show that 4 out of 5 brides are employed, therefore it is necessary to include the bride in the planning when it comes to setting a date and time. A traditional 'girl-only' party could be a Sunday brunch, a midweek lunch or an afternoon tea garden party.

Couples showers are best held on a weekend day or evening. The majority of people tend to work between 9-5 Monday-Friday, therefore a weekend is a safe bet in that most of the couples' friends and relatives can attend.
If you are having a shower party with work colleagues, then the ideal time would be in your lunch hour or straight after work.

what is wedding shower checklist?

So what is wedding shower checklist really all about?

The following report includes some fascinating information about wedding shower checklist--info you can use, not just the old stuff they used to tell you. Here is a lovely idea for a bridal shower. Before the event, make a simple journal and decorate it accordingly. (You can use card stock paper & cardboard decorated with a stamp or fabric.)

Knowledge can give you a real advantage. To make sure you're fully informed about wedding shower checklist, keep reading. Perhap you'll reduce your wedding expenses by reading it :) .

As guests arrive, ask them to write their name, address & gift given on a page in the journal some time during the shower. If they wish, they can also write a personal note to the bride.

Not only does this journal eliminate the need to have someone write down which guest brought what gift, it provides the bride with a keepsake from her shower. Plus, she won't have to go digging for the addresses! I have experienced three bridal showers in my honor in the last few months.

Hostess a couple's shower. Include both male and female guests. Grooms always feel left out of the process and this is a great way for frieds of both the bride and the groom to become acquainted prior to the wedding. The couples that host/hostessed our shower made us matching aprons, presented us with a wide variety of ingredients to make a cake from scratch and turned us loose.

We combined the ingredients in front of all the guests and the cakes baked while we opened gifts. When the cakes were finished, we each tasted the others creation. It was really cute and we were able to keep the aprons as a rememberance.

Is there really any information about wedding shower checklist that is nonessential? We all see things from different angles, so something relatively insignificant to one may be crucial to another.

I just got married

im cindy. I just got married couple of months ago. My husband is Pat, he is the best guy to me.

During my wedding preparation, I've been searched a lot of things that can cut cost because I do not want him to spend too much of unnessary things. However, but this does not effect our whole wedding at all.

I like to check everything base on the wedding shower checklist, so it'll never go wrong.
